02 Payout models
Five ways an offer can pay you
Every offer in the network is priced on one of these models. Knowing which one applies tells you exactly what event triggers your payout.
CPI — Cost Per Install
You get paid the moment a referred user installs the app. The standard model for scaling raw install volume on gaming and utility apps, where the first open is the meaningful event.
CPA — Cost Per Action
Payout triggers on a defined in-app action past the install — adding a card, completing a tutorial, placing a first order. Common across fintech, e-commerce, and subscription verticals where install alone isn't proof of intent.
CPL — Cost Per Lead
You're paid for a qualified lead — a form fill, a demo request, a pre-approval application. Typical in fintech and lifestyle offers where the advertiser's sales team takes over after the lead lands.
CPS — Cost Per Sale
Payout is a share of a completed transaction, usually as a flat rate or percentage of order value. The default model for e-commerce offers, rewarding publishers who drive buyers, not just browsers.
CPR — Cost Per Registration
You're paid when a referred user completes account registration — sign-up plus verification, not just an app open. Frequent in fintech, gaming, and subscription apps that gate real value behind an account.
03 Verticals
Offer categories across six core verticals
Each vertical typically runs on its own mix of payout models, shaped by how the advertiser defines a valuable user.
Gaming
CPI offers for install volume, CPA offers tied to tutorial completion or level milestones, and CPR offers where account registration unlocks progression. High volume, fast-moving creative cycles.
Fintech
CPA and CPL offers built around account sign-ups, KYC completion, and card activation. Payouts sit higher per unit given the compliance bar and lifetime value of a verified user.
E-commerce
CPS offers dominant here — a cut of a completed order — alongside CPA offers for cart-to-checkout actions during seasonal and flash-sale pushes.
Utilities
CPI-led offers for tools, cleaners, VPNs, and battery/storage apps, where install-to-open is the core success signal and campaigns run at steady, always-on volume.
Lifestyle
CPL and CPA offers across health, dating, and content apps, typically paying on a qualified sign-up or an early engagement action rather than the install alone.
Subscription apps
CPA and CPR offers structured around trial starts and completed registration, with some advertisers layering a secondary event once a trial converts to paid.
